Clear the Shelters 2026

SPCA Tampa Bay in Largo is waiving adoption fees for every available animal, including dogs, cats, puppies, kittens, pocket pets, reptiles, and birds, as part of the national Clear the Shelters campaign, with a goal of surpassing 300 adoptions in a single day. Adoptions are first-come, first-served, food trucks and photo opportunities are on site, and showing up is one of the more straightforwardly good things you can do with a Saturday.
