August Fiction Book Club

Join us for an engaging evening at Book + Bottle's Fiction Book Club, where literature enthusiasts gather to discuss compelling narratives over glasses of wine. This month, we're delving into Octavia E. Butler's acclaimed novel, Parable of the Sower. Set in a dystopian future, the story follows Lauren Olamina, a young woman with the unique ability to feel others' pain, as she navigates a world plagued by climate change and social upheaval. Butler's visionary storytelling offers a profound exploration of resilience, community, and the human spirit.

Whether you're a seasoned book club member or new to literary discussions, all are welcome to share insights and perspectives in our vibrant community. Hosted by Dominic Howarth, this session promises thought-provoking conversation and the opportunity to connect with fellow readers. Arrive early to secure a seat in our cozy space, and continue the dialogue with new friends after the discussion concludes.
