The Writers Room Showcase

Experience the creative synergy of the Wednesday Writers Room as they present an exclusive In the Round showcase at the Palladium's intimate Side Door Cabaret. This dynamic collective of local songwriters has been crafting new music every two weeks since January 2025, each piece inspired by a random prompt drawn from a hat. Now, the group's eight founding members are set to unveil their latest compositions, offering audiences a unique glimpse into their creative processes and the stories behind their songs.

The evening is divided into two captivating sets. Set 1 features performances by Rebekah Pulley, Josh Plummer, Jay Taylor, and Dean Johanesen, while Set 2 showcases the talents of Cassie Jean, Rich Odato, Scott Hunt, and Doug Burns. Don't miss this opportunity to witness the birth of brand-new music and hear firsthand accounts of the inspirations and challenges that shaped these songs, all within the perfect listening environment of the Side Door Cabaret.
