2025 GeckoFest

Gulfport's largest and most uniquely vibrant street event celebrates the end of summer with flair! This signature event transforms Beach Boulevard into a festival to remember, honoring Gulfport's unofficial mascot, the gecko. The celebration boasts a different creative theme each year, with attendees encouraged to embrace the theme and arrive in costume. The event features live music on multiple stages, a vast marketplace with unique arts, crafts, gifts, and delicious food and drinks, street theater with roving magicians, stilt walkers, acrobats, jugglers, costumed characters, and more. There's also a wacky walking parade and Gecko Skateboard Races.
